In response to the growth of the after-school care market, Tot Mate™, a leading provider of early childhood education furniture, recently added two new locker systems to their line of early learning furnishings.
The Tot Mate™ lockers provide durable laminate storage space for the personal items of students coming from elementary and middle-schools. Designed with extra-deep, 20” compartments to hold backpacks, books and binders, the lockers store personal items vertically in order to maximize available floor space. Wire grille doors allow visibility while a self-latching hasp provides security. Label holders accommodate a wide variety of engraved plastic or other numbering devices.
Lockers are available in a Maple laminate finish in heights of 70” for 8-students storage and 54” for 6-student storage. “At Tot Mate™ , we realize that daycare space is at a premium,” said Tim Wente, National Sales Manager. “That’s why we designed these lockers to use vertical wall space instead of horizontal. They can be easily placed in an entry room or a hallway so that children can store their belongings as soon as they enter the facility. The after-school providers can see what the kids have brought into the building and keep it conveniently and safely stored in a small footprint,” he added.
The 8-student locker retails for a list price of $559, while the 6-student lists for $479. Lockers are available through Tot Mate™ dealers across the nation.
